Dr Prabhakar C Koregol MD DM

Dr Prabhakar Koregol is currently working as consultant Interventional cardiologist at Fortis Hospital Cunningham Road, Bengaluru. Dr Prabhakar Koregol has won many accolades during his residency and fellowship in MRMC and LTMMC. He is awarded for his innovation and research activities. He is regular speaker at many state and National Conferences. He has keen interest in teaching and research.

EDUCATION :

Dr Prabhakar Koregol, after completing his MBBS from MMC Mysore , he completed his post-graduation (MD) in (Internal Medicine) from MRMC Gulbarga. Further he did his super-specialization (DM) in Cardiology from LTMMC Sion Mumbai,. After his DM in Cardiology, he worked as lecture in same department before joining as consultant in WOckhardts Hospital (Now called Fortis) Dr Prabhakar Koregol has obtained Membership of American College of Cardiology, Indian college of cardiology(ICC) and Cardiology Society of India(CSI). He holds a licence of Karnataka Medical Council.

EXPERIENCE :

Dr Srinivas has worked in various multispecialty hospitals and premier Institutes across country (MSR Hospital, MRMC, Sion Hospital, Vagus Hospital and Panacea Hospital) after his MD and DM, for the last 15 years, initially as resident / fellow and later on as consultant. He also consults at Kanva Diagnostics and Namana Medical Centre. He also founded Carnataka Cardiology Academy along with Prof Nagaraj Desai and is Founding Secretary of Same.
